ISF Sand Soccer Challenge
The 7th Annual International Surf Festival Sand Soccer Challenge will be held at Torrance Beach. The event is the premier Southern California Sand Soccer Tournament. The event is open to boys and girls teams of all ages and all levels of play. Recreational teams (AYSO and Select) and competitive teams (Club Soccer and High School) have all come together on our sand soccer fields over the years. The Challenge is conducted by the clear blue Pacific Ocean. Bright sunny skies, warm sand, fun surf and passing dophin families have all added to the enjoyment of this popular Surf Festival event.
The event is open to teams from U9-U18 and adult for an entry fee of $300 per team. All teams will consist of a maximum of 10 players playing a 5 vs 5 match, including the goalkeeper. Matches will consist of three 11 minute periods using 7 x 21 goals. Teams will be guaranteed three matches and each participant will receive a tournament ISF t-shirt. Awards will be presented to the Championship teams in each age group.
The ISF Sand Soccer Challenge is conducted by the Torrance Sand Soccer Association.
